What do you think, should you buy a topical Pain Relief Spray or something that really works?

By Gene Medame

From softball in the spring and summer to flag football in the fall and bowling in the winter, I’m always on the go. Of course, now that I’m getting a bit older, I wake up on Monday mornings with quite a few more aches and pains than before. Fortunately, these minor problems can probably be handled by a good pain relief spray.

I used to use Ben-Gay and other types of creams, but those products aren’t very fun to use. For instance, once I apply the cream, I have to wait for it to dry completely before I can put my clothes back on or else my jeans and shirt will stick to my body wherever the stuff has been applied.

In addition, there’s simply no way to mask the telltale odor of those creams, so I end up smelling terrible for hours. Yuck!

Thank goodness I won’t have any of these problems once I make the switch to a pain relief spray!

There are several different pain relief sprays on the market today, but I’ve never used any of them before, so I’m going to have to read some consumer reviews before buying anything. I know that might sound like an extreme approach to buying pain relief spray, but I can’t stand the thought of wasting money even if it’s just a small amount!

Plus, I would hate to suffer through a day of achy joints and muscles because of using an ineffective product, so I don’t mind spending a little extra time on research beforehand.

Anyway, I’ve already talked to a few friends who use pain relief sprays, and they’ve been telling me about some of the benefits of these products.

For one thing, none of us like to take pills and don’t want to risk an addiction to painkillers, so using an over-the-counter product that is applied externally is the best way for us to go.

For another, most pain relief sprays work instantly for minor problems and don’t have that medicine-like smell that will give you away as an aging athlete.

I was able to get a couple of brand recommendations from my friends as well, so I’ll take those into consideration before choosing a pain relief spray. In all likelihood, if a product works for those guys, there’s no reason it shouldn’t do the same for me.

If you’re like me and don’t want to be slowed down by minor aches and pains, I think you should spend a few bucks on a good pain relief spray. Then you can just keep it in your gym bag and always be mere moments away from a pain-free day!
