Gate Anchor or Cane Bolt

What ever you call it ... Gate anchor or cane bolt, I could not find any local hardware store which had one that was more than 12" long. I'm using it on the door of my shed to hold it open. I needed one that was at at least 18" or more because my shed sits up on a 6" high steel frame. I mounted the unit on the inside of the door and wanted to be able to latch the cane (bolt) up high enough so that when the door was closed it came above the threshold. After checking on the internet I found this one which fit the bill, and the best price for it was at Amazon.

I use this on a six foot wooden gate. I wish it were a little longer but it works fine.
