Health Care For The Elderly
In some countries, old people are ignored because they can no longer be used for something. They become slow, their eyesight deteriorates and they cannot walk without their cane or walking stick. But they were not like that when they were younger. In their younger days they too had a job, had money and had savings.
It is also possible that during their lifetime, they were able to establish a family of their own and raise kids. But when one reaches a certain point where he cannot anymore do the things that he used to do with the same vigor, he becomes distant and cold. This is what brings their kids farther away. So, instead of taking care of their parents themselves, they would choose to send them to an institution.

If you are just at home with no one to talk to, you can find a listening ear in the institution and there would be others who will be in a much worse situation than you are in who would need you care and attention.
Together, you can talk about your past experiences, share troubles and pains, and eventually, create new friendships. Your health will be taken great care too, as the institutes will have nurses and stay in doctors to treat your illnesses, care for you and assist you in your daily activities. You will have daily activities like fun and games that are for older people. You will also have sharing activities where each one would be made to share something to the group.

You can find the love and attention there which you find difficult to squeeze out from those people who are supposedly close to you.
