Using an Eastern Theme On A Small Budget
It may be daunting to your wallet to begin adorning your home in an Oriental motif. It all seems too costly, right? Well, you shouldn’t fret, because anyone can create a great Eastern-inspired space, even on a small pocketbook!
Let’s get started: what you should to do to add Asian decor on a tight budget is to use just a single area to add Oriental-themed items to. Only choose one room; oriental decor works great in kitchens or living rooms. If you’re really tight with your budget, how about the bathroom? Bathrooms are smaller, it will take less money to bring an Oriental flair to them. Or, you can just decorate an area of a room. For instance, how about an “Asian corner” in your dining room?
Then, you should hunt for decorations. You can find a lot of super deals by hunting online (try searching for something like ” sake sets“), or with some luck you can find some things in your local thrift store. And don’t forget to check flea markets in your area. Look for items you can stencil calligraphy on or repaint to keep your pocketbook happy!
